My stay at Pan Pacific Hanoi was quite the experience! While the hotel itself had good features, like the spacious pool and gym, I found some aspects a bit lacking. The dining options were great but on the pricier side for Hanoi, and the location was tricky to navigate due to the heavy traffic. Overall, I had a good time and appreciated the friendly staff, especially at the Pacific Lounge.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were tastefully decorated with large comfortable bathrooms and offered fantastic views. However, I did notice some signs of fading grandeur that suggested they might need a refresh soon.
Service
9.0
The staff exemplified customer service at its finest, always warm and welcoming. I felt appreciated throughout my stay.
Location
7.0
The location is near West Lake, perfect for walks, but the traffic made getting around a bit of a hassle. It's not too far from local attractions, which I appreciated.
Dining
7.0
The dining was great with a great selection, although breakfast wasn't free as expected. I enjoyed some meals, but with the prices, it felt a bit much compared to other dining options in the area.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities were fantastic. The gym was huge, and I really enjoyed the sauna. The pool was also a great place to unwind.

7.2/10

I recently stayed at Pan Pacific Hanoi and my experience was quite mixed. The hotel boasts a great location with stunning views and a fantastic rooftop bar, but I had some hiccups with service and amenities. Overall, it has potential but could use some improvements.

Rooms
8.0
The room had a lovely view over the lakes, and I found it comfortable. However, I noticed that the in-room facilities felt a bit dated, and I had trouble charging my phone by the bed since there weren't enough power points.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally polite and helpful, especially the club room receptionist who was lovely. But I did experience some inconsistent service, like the missed turn-down service on my second night.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect, right in front of West Lake, making it convenient to explore the Old Quarter and nearby attractions. It's an ideal spot for both business and leisure.
Dining
8.0
Dining options were decent, especially the breakfast buffet, but I think they could add more variety to the menu since it was the same over my stay. There was a great rooftop bar, though, where I really enjoyed my evenings.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities are impressive, with a large gym and nice pool, but I felt let down by the room service quality. Some items, like the pancakes, didn't meet expectations.

I had a nice stay at the Pan Pacific Hanoi, enjoying the fantastic view of West Lake and the superb service that truly sets it apart. The room was lovely, though a bit dated in some areas. and while I appreciated the well-equipped gym and beautiful swimming pool, I did wish for more modern touches. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing experience, making it a solid choice for anyone visiting Hanoi.

Rooms
7.0
My room had a great view of the lake, but I found the decor slightly tired and the mattress not as comfortable as I expected from a five-star hotel. The amenities were adequate, but some felt outdated.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. they went above and beyond to cater to my needs, even assisting with my food delivery from Grab, which made my stay more convenient.
Location
8.0
I liked the hotel’s location, as it provided a nice escape from the chaos of the old quarter while still being within walking distance of great neighborhoods. It was close to shops and cafes, which I found very convenient.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were delicious, with a good variety. but I felt there could be more choice for breakfast. The terrace bar was also perfect for enjoying a sunset, but the afternoon tea set could use some improvement in variety.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered great facilities including a fitness room and a nice swimming pool. However, elements like the switch plates and room amenities felt reminiscent of the early 2000s, which was a bit disappointing for a luxury hotel.

My stay at Pan Pacific Hanoi was pleasant overall. The location offered a lovely view of the lake, although it was a bit far from the central attractions. The service was excellent, especially from the concierge team, who were always helpful. However, the room I stayed in had some old fixtures and the comfort level of the bed could be improved.

Rooms
7.0
The room provided a stunning view of the lake. yet it felt somewhat dated with an awkward bathroom setup. The mattress wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped, but the room size was decent.
Service
9.0
The staff were friendly, kind, and very attentive. I appreciated their extra efforts, like fulfilling my dining requests by the pool. The concierge, Tuan, was especially helpful.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated in a nice area with beautiful views. However, it is a bit removed from the busy city center, making cabs necessary for outings.
Dining
8.0
Dining options were quite good, with a nice variety. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked, though I felt the menu could use more diversity over my stay.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities, including the pool and gym, were impressive. However, the gym was small and divided into two areas.

My stay at Pan Pacific Hanoi had its ups and downs. I appreciated the friendly staff and the very nice dining experience at the Ming Restaurant. However, the hotel felt quite dated, and I had to change rooms due to unpleasant odors. Overall, I left feeling mixed about my experience, particularly after checking out early.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were rather dated and small. I faced issues like lingering cigarette smells and awkward bathroom setups. The view of West Lake was beautiful, but the overall ambiance didn't live up to expectations.

Location
7.0
The hotel's location was convenient, just a short distance from the Old Quarter. It provided a peaceful environment away from the bustling city center.
Dining

Dining at the Ming Restaurant was a highlight. The food was some of the best I had in Vietnam, and the Pacific Lounge offered an excellent variety of snacks and drinks. I particularly enjoyed the poached eggs for breakfast!
Facilities

The facilities, including the pool and gym, were impressive. However, other aspects like the hot shower left something to be desired.
